Big Chip was started by a tree service professional on the idea of quality stump removal along with being versatile enough to offer a complete package to our customers. We can do everything with one machine (grinding, clean up and add topsoil) which is lightweight, incredibly maneuverable and very easy on your lawn. This combination is perfect for lake country of Northwestern Wisconsin.
Andy Kautza - Business Owner
Andy is a Wisconsin native who has always had a love for the Outdoors. He worked in landscaping for 5 years both in Northern Wisconsin and North Central Colorado. He then moved on to be a professional Wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service in North West Wyoming. He spent many hours behind a chainsaw and also gained great leadership and management skills. After their second boy, Andy and his Family decided to settle back in beautiful Northwestern Wisconsin where he became a tree care professional. During this time Big Chip Stump Removal was born.
